FFA Dues

 

Chapter members pay these dues in order to be members of the FFA nationwide.  Checks are made payable to the B.F. Terry FFA.  Below is a breakdown of our organization’s fees and dues:

 

National and State Fees: $10

Area: $1.50

District: $2.00

Local: $16.50

Within National dues, your child will receive a magazine from National FFA Organization.  The State, Area, and District dues are required for our students to be FFA members and it enables them to participate in all contests, stock shows, and extracurricular activities.

 

Local dues of $16.50 will help sponsor the FFA parent and member banquet at the end of the school year for up to 4 persons per student.  In conjunction, each time the students participate in a contest, we must pay $15.00.  There are approximately 50 contests during the school year.  The students are required to purchase a FFA jacket.  The jackets must be worn at leadership events as well as Local, Area, State, and National contests.
